Mel Annand is a practicing lawyer and active farmer at Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada. He holds a Master's Degree in Law in International Trade Law. He has been a Sessional Lecturer at the College of Law and the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan where he lectured in Agricultural Law. He acted as the Senior Law Fellow for the Centre for the Study of Agriculture, Law and the Environment adn as a Fellow at the Estey Centre for Law and Economics in International Trade at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He has lectured and published in the area of agricultural law.
